Responsibilities: Team Lead for PA market and system performance for 100 sites in PA for dual band and tri-band FDD LTE

Team Lead to ensure KPI and statistics were optimized for DCR/Blocking for CDMA and KPIs for LTE

Glow Networks:  Market Support Lead Consultant to Ericsson in Atlanta, GA

Responsibilities: 3G Launch Lead for Memphis and Kentucky market to support Sprint Network Vision Project.  Supported market lead for:

·               Design:  Reworded design after ACP-Capesso runs to ensure coverage/Ec/Io and access failure/drop calls optimized for the Memphis market for Azimuth and DT tilt changes. 

·               Hardware dimensioning and RFDS generation for a five year predications for site migration for carrier counts, spectrum limited sites and allocation of equipment on site to site basis.

·               Liaison to site development to ensure design was implemented correctly to ensure spacing allowance for different technologies, proposing new design to construction to accommodate RRU’s placement.  Updating database and RFDS’ to reflect changes and ensure new design was accurate.  Submitted alternative designs to Sprint for structurally challenged/stealth designs based on Planet simulations, market knowledge and Sprint’s design criteria.

·               Responsible for datafill parameter and ip allocation for CDMA and EVDO Daisy change and AEM configurations and script generation.  Submitted scripts for new builds and trained engineers for the day to day scripting requirements of the market.  Ensured sites were built with correct configuration per spectrum allocation and budget allocation.

·               Worked directly with integration manager for site migrations from BTS to RBS with RRU configuration for 3G-CDMA for 800/1900 MHz and 4G-LTE 1900 MHz    First point of contact for escalation for pre-and post-launch of site migration (and supporting migrations as request by integration manager).

·               For site migrations, ensured functionally, follow through with optimization to pass No Harm KPI’s submittals and cluster acceptance KPI’s.  Functionality testing included review of stats of sites, hardware alarms, neighbor list and parameters

·               Optimization included downtilts, neighbor list and site parameters. Cluster acceptance review to ensure that cluster was meeting Sprint’s KPI’s and optimization of clusters as needed.  

 

Huawei Communications: Supporting Sales Sr. RF Engineer

07/2010 to 6/2011 (consultant to hire from 7/2010 to 12/2010 for T-Force)

Responsibilities:  Supported sales with response to RFP’s for new and existing clients.  Design leader of project schedule, site design and presentation to client. Responsible for antenna selection, design specifications, site selection based on master site database, methodology, coverage thresholds and link budget, propagation modeling selection and population count for to estimate hardware dimension/capacity. Designed and optimized new and existing network architecture of WiMAX, UMTS and LTE for overlay networks such as CDMA/UMTS and CDMA/LTE.

 

4G Unwired:  UMTS Design Engineer, Consultant in Melbourne Florida and Mexico City, MX.

4/2010 to 5/2010

Responsibilities:  Consultant as a cluster design engineer for two areas:  Brazil and Mexico.  Design was to meet KPI’s on specific morphologies from urban, commercial and highways.  Worked directly with local engineers and presented design to director of engineering.  Primary responsibility was to design for coverage and capacity growth for a five year plan utilizing existing and new cell sites. 

 

Sprint Nextel:  RF I to RF III for IDEN and CDMA in Irvine, CA and Atlanta, GA

7/1997 to 9/2009

Responsibilities: Duties included increase from cluster design and optimization engineer to SME for iDEN and CDMA.  Lead various projects from drive testing teams, propagation modeling, software testing and implementation, team leader and initiated training program.  Worked within all faucets of RF engineer from zoning meetings, site design, bringing sites on-air, optimization, frequency and site-trouble-shooting.  Lead in optimization for recommending parameter changes to improve network quality, coverage and KPI’s.  Lead a team of associate engineers and technicians for the West Los Angelus area to support site design, site optimization and trouble-shooting.  Regional lead for site database support, site modifications and close-out packages.
